Today I am so excited to share with you a product that I have been using regularly for over a month, and which is definitely going to be a repurchase! This product is Biologique Recherche Collagene Originel 3D Redensifying Face Serum.

Collagen Originel is a new addition to BR Collagen serum collection. Having been a loyal user and chronic repurchaser of BR Collagen Marin and BR Collagen Natif serums, I knew I simply had to try this one, and it did not disappoint!

BR claims that this is their latest and most powerful innovation when it comes to Collagen formulations. This serum contains not one but FOUR main types of Collagen (Types I, III, IV, and VII), which are combined to actively help you re-densify your skin. As if this were not enough, the product contains one of its kind, patented by BR, Type-0 Collagen, which the brand calls “The Mother of All Collagens” to promote Collagen VII production and improves the appearance of derma-epidermal junction.

For the last month that I have been using it, I can say that the results are almost immediate! The first time I used it at night as part of my usual routine, I noticed that in the morning my skin seemed to look a bit airbrushed, pores seemed smaller, skin tone more even, and overall I felt like I had just applied a super moisturizing mask to my skin, even though I have not done so. After a week of using, I can definitely tell that my skin is more hydrated, looks firmer, and overall seems more radiant.

My favorite way to use this product:
• Cleanse or double cleanse
• Apply Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 PIGM 400 right after cleansing to remove impurities, balance PH, and treat hyperpigmentation
• Apply a layer of Biologique Recherche Masque Vivant or Biologique Recherche Masque Visolastine + to face and neck, rinse after 20 min.
• Proceed with Serum Collagene Originel
• Apply any other serums in the routine
• Finish with a moisturizer of choice

How to apply: Since this product is part of a Treatment Stage (see my post on detailed explanation of each stage and categories of BR products here) BR recommends applying this product as the first step after cleaning/toning/masking. Apply a few drops of product to clean face, neck, and decollate, then massage in upward motions until fully absorbed.

TIP: If your skin is drier or more sensitive, mix with Biologique Recherche Masque VIP O2. I like to mix Mask Vivant with Mask VIP O2 and apply all over face and decollate, and then apply just Mask VIPO2 around the eye area.
